As part of our evolving interior design portfolio, Di Oro Interiors was commissioned to deliver interior design services for the Cathedral Green Townhouse, a refined family home set within one of Cardiff's most exclusive residential areas, near Llandaff Cathedral. The project revolved around the considered renovation of five key spaces: the master bathroom, guest bathroom, a shared bathroom for two teenage girls, and the re-design of two bedrooms. The design process began with immersive visualisation, translating the client’s vision of tranquil sanctuaries into soft, earth-toned interiors. Neutral palettes of cream, stone grey, and light wood form the foundation of each bathroom, with subtle textures, curated greenery scents, and bespoke joinery conveyed an understated sense of luxury throughout. In the master bathroom, a floating fluted wood vanity and custom-lit alcoves set a serene tone, while the guest bathroom introduced an olive tree and premium wallpaper to elevate its compact footprint.

Upstairs, the girls’ bathroom at the Cathedral Green Townhouse embraces both elegance and individuality. A freestanding tub, backed by softly lit timber battens anchors the space, while bespoke alcoves and pebbled shower base lend the shower area a sense of organic harmony. Every element of the design process was driven by the desire to create private retreats within a vibrant family setting. This is especially evident in the nuanced approach to materiality and layout, allowing each space to serve as both functional and emotionally resonant. Through tailored visualisation and a commitment to creating a restful atmosphere, Di Oro Interiors transformed everyday routines into elevated rituals, reinforcing our belief that great design is not only seen, but quietly felt.
